This week I had a semi-formal and ventured out in this look. I was very excited to wear such a fun dress and finally wear my new heels (which I did not take off all night--very proud). Dressing up is one of my favourite things and this was no exception.

Loss of a Visionary

The world lost a fashion legend yesterday. The passing of Alexander McQueen came as a huge shock to the fashion industry and people worldwide are mourning the loss. His groundbreaking pieces always brought excitement to the fashion world and he will be remembered as a true fashion visionary.

More Couture Favourites

This time some of my favourites from Spring 2010 couture come from Valentino and Givenchy. At Valentino the draping of the garments was just beautiful and I LOVED the soft colours. It was all just so feminine and pretty. At Givenchy, the details on the dresses were fantastic, ESPECIALLY the ruffles. Also, the strong lips were stunning, I've made a personal vow to find an intense red lipstick to try it myself.
