Inspired by Mad Men...

I find it a little funny that Banana Republic has a contest to win a walk-on role on Mad Men and then I find this skirt there. When I saw it, I was immediately reminded of the show. The shape of the skirt and it's colour threw me back to that era and I loved it! Throw on some leopard print tights and wedge booties and you're ready for the 21st century!

See My Vest! See My Pants!

A few months ago, I posted about the Topshop pieces at Jonathan+Olivia. Once again, after surfing through their new arrivals, I felt compelled to share some new standout pieces. My woolly vest is from Topshop but this is a whole other level of crazy vests. I know I sound like Mr. Burns when he sings "See My Vest", but I think that this one is something special.
These pants are what compelled me to post in the first place. I absolutely love the insect print with the tailored cut of the pants. It's so unique and with a pair of wedge booties, would make the perfect fall outfit.

Come On Barbie, Let's Go Party!

I absolutely love Halloween. It always brings false eyelashes and big hair and who doesn't love that! This year, I decided to venture out as Barbie, the queen of big eyelashes and blonde hair. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the shirt was my pride and joy though. I made it from a plain white t-shirt and transformed it into Barbie material, rhinestones and all. The cherry of top of the costume though? The Pierre Hardys.
