What intrigued me most about the Fall/Winter 2011/2012 shows in New York was the variety. At shows like Rodarte, light colours and fabrics were emphasized while at Alexander Wang, cozy knits reigned supreme. My favourite show overall was Jason Wu and his beautiful dresses and details. At Marc Jacobs, dots were EVERYWHERE. My prediction is a dots themed editorial in Vogue or Harper's Bazaar come September.

At Alexander Wang, I was fascinated by pieces like this that went gradually from a heavy knit to silk. That detail was incredible.
